The buttocks are a very prominent part of the body, which should be harmoniously integrated into the overall appearance, primarily because of the often critical self-perception. Whether in swimwear or everyday clothes – a well-formed bottom is positively noticeable. Unfortunately, the desired result of a round, plump, and firm shape cannot always be achieved even with targeted exercise. Successful weight loss and the natural aging process also contribute to the sagging of the buttocks.
In Turkey, a so-called Brazilian Butt Lift is the perfect method to re-contour and enlarge the buttocks. In principle, anyone who wishes to have an optimal adjustment of the butt can have this aesthetic-plastic procedure performed. If fat distribution runs unevenly along the buttock, hips, and thighs, reducing these fat deposits can provide an attractive slim appearance. In the past, the use of autologous fat was also used for augmentation in Turkey. Recently, however, there has been a growing tendency to abandon this approach. In our beauty clinics, we are increasingly relying on the use of implants. The result of this enlargement technique is permanent and requires less effort on the part of the patient, even during follow-up care.
General Information
If you want more curves and a more youthful appearance, the Brazilian Butt Lift is the perfect way to contour and enlarge your buttocks. In Turkey, implants are increasingly used to enlarge and reshape the buttocks. With this method, silicone implants are inserted into the buttock muscles. In the past, this procedure was used primarily for patients who could not provide enough own fat for lipofilling. Today, our specialists in Turkey rely almost without exception on the implant variant, as aftercare with silicone cushions is much more comfortable for the patient. For example, he/she no longer has to make sure that he sleeps exclusively on his stomach for weeks on end. And unlike own-fat insoles, even prolonged sitting with the cushions can no longer harm the new buttocks’ design.
Consultation with the doctor
Before a BBL is carried out at our clinic, we carry out a comprehensive discussion with our specialists together with you. We will explain the operation course to you and inform you about the possible risks associated with the operation. The postoperative process will also be explained.
You will also undergo several preliminary examinations. Together we will ensure that the procedure is safe for you. However, we also guarantee a desirable result. For this purpose, the implant types that are suitable for you will be presented and discussed. Together we go through the operation and decide how and where the filling cushions should be inserted. This is the only way to ensure that you will receive the bottom shape you have imagined with the BBL-Op.
This consultation can also take place on the day of surgery and is free of charge.
Before and after the operation
The buttock augmentation procedure here in Istanbul is a procedure that can take up to four hours. The operation is performed under general anesthesia. Plan at least one overnight stay at the clinic in Istanbul.
The implant is inserted either under or in the gluteal muscle. For this purpose, our surgeon first establishes access to the gluteal muscle to set up an implant pocket. The necessary incision is about five centimeters long. In our clinics, intramuscular use of the buttock implants is preferred, as the filling cushion is entirely enclosed by tissue, and slippage can be largely prevented.
The implant is invisible from the outside, and the suture can withstand even heavy loads. After the operation, pressure loads on the buttocks should be avoided for two to three weeks if possible. Allow yourself and your body a 14-day career break and plenty of rest to recover.
Which complications can occur after BBL?
If you avoid heavy physical exertion, you will be able to resume your normal daily activities within a few days after the procedure. After a total of five overnight stays, you can then start your return journey from Turkey. From the second week onwards, you can resume normal activities. However, you should not carry out any physically strenuous activities.
